HotelREZ Expands Global Independent‑First Platform, Deepens Adoption and Advances Luxury Segmentation 800 512 HotelREZ

London, 2 March, 2026 – HotelREZ Hotels & Resorts today reported strong full‑year performance and continued expansion of its global independent‑first hotel platform, reinforcing its position as one of the largest privately held hotel groups by key count worldwide.

The company supports more than 2,500 independent hotels, aparthotels, and regional groups globally, representing approximately 222,500 rooms (keys). Approximately 56% of the portfolio – around 1,400 hotels, or 124,600 rooms (keys) – is fully adopted across the core HotelREZ service suite. Portfolio retention remains above 90%, with many customers over 21 years of tenure. The company continues to operate on a scale comparable to major multinational hotel groups while remaining privately held and organically grown.

Financial Performance & Operating Discipline

Revenue increased 18.6% year over year, supported by resilient global travel demand in the independent sector – particularly upscale – and deeper engagement across distribution, representation and technology services. Global revenue per available room (RevPAR) has improved by 9.8%, driven by average daily rate (ADR) and occupancy gains across multiple regions, limiting exposure to specific macro pressures. Proprietary software-as-a-service (SaaS) distribution contribution increased, underpinned by strengthened global distribution system (GDS) performance and expanded strategic partnerships. During the year, HotelREZ increased system size by 8% reflecting continued global momentum, organic and reputational expansion, and messaging that resonates with independent hoteliers.

Brand Architecture & Luxury Carve‑Out

HotelREZ operates a structured brand architecture designed to enable clear progression while preserving independent identity. Best Loved Hotels provides curated global positioning and visibility for independent properties seeking market presence without rigid brand overlays.

Approximately 350 hotels have qualified for the Group’s Elegant Hotel Collection, a defined luxury and upscale carve-out within the broader platform appealing to a higher-net-worth demographic seeking authentic, independent-led experiences. Elegant operates as a performance-led framework, qualifying properties that meet defined positioning and commercial criteria and enabling enhanced distribution and global demand access. This participation model creates a clear brand ladder across the portfolio while maintaining hotel independence.

Net‑New Commercial Pipeline

The company’s net-new commercial pipeline, separate from its existing portfolio and targeted engagement cohort, remains extremely strong and is reinforced by the recruitment of key global roles to expand the company’s footprint. Pipeline opportunities are incremental and are not included in system size until contracted and activated, spanning multiple regions and segments, including properties aligned with Elegant Hotel Collection and Best Loved Hotels participation.

Technology, SaaS & Scalable Delivery

HotelREZ continues to invest in proprietary SaaS capabilities, strengthened connectivity, data analytics, and automation workflows. The company expanded its near-shore engineering capacity to support ongoing development and scalable delivery across markets. HotelREZ’s integrated demand engine – combining technology, structured partnerships, and commercial execution – remains central to driving incremental revenue and improving portfolio economics.

Leadership & Geographic Expansion

In support of pipeline expansion, HotelREZ strengthened its leadership team with senior appointments across key functional areas including Strategic Deals & Growth, the Americas, Customer Success, Customer Engagement and Global Brand Marketing. These appointments support continued scale across Europe, the Americas and Asia Pacific, while ensuring quality and service delivery continue to outstrip market norms.
